Can you dye VCT?

I found some VCT thats light colored. Can you use vinyl dye on it? I want to dye it black and at the price it would still be worth it to dye it.

I wouldn't think so. I have never heard of it. I guess it would be like painting the floor. I would think it would wear off. For the time and cost you would be better of to just get the darker tile.

Haven't heard of that before. This is for VCT you haven't bought yet? Even if it was free in the end it's probably cheaper to buy the color your really want, VCT isn't that expensive.
