Can you identify this coupler?

Can anyone identify what type of quick connect coupler this is? I have searched the google and came up short. It is the quick connect coupler on my compression tester hose that connects it to the gauge. I am trying to find a set identical to this one so I can use this hose on the leak down tester I plan on making.

Next plan of action would be to change this fitting to a more available type but the female end has a built in check valve that I can't get rid of. Thoughts? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

never seen it before. but if the hose is a common size you can cut it and install a tee and ball valves, etc. with hose barb fittings so you have other ways of hooking up to the line/gauge.

Looks like a dry break coupling for fluid and pneumatic handling in sensitive environments, labs, food processing, etc. I'd replace them with industrial couplings if it's going to be used for air tools.

The brand of the tester is Innova, http://www.innova.com/wp/. Appears to be an American company but the tester is marked made in Taiwan. I have seen other testers online with the same type of coupling but I would assume they are all made by the same manufacturer.

I don't think it is the dry type fitting because the male end does not have a check valve, it is hollow. The Euro micro type linked above is the closest I have seen so far, but as stated the reliefs in them are at the top not the bottom.

I like the other ideas of changing it out or finding another tester, this is probably the best way forward. Thanks again for all your input.

Most compression testers use a Schrader valve to hold the compression and when you try to use that for a leak down tester you must remove the Schrader valve.

This design uses a type of connector usually found on hydraulic lines that has a shut off valve built in.

Lisle makes a hose that would work with your leak down tester which is typically used to hold up valves using air pressure during a valve seal replacement operation that they sell for $12. Probably the best way to go. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000COC7ZU/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Thanks for the link to the Lisle hose, that's a perfect alternative to my idea. I was aware that the schrader valve needs to be removed, on my hose it is on the plug side. My leak down tester was going to use both the gauge and the hose from the compression tester. Now that I know this hose exists though I'll just get a separate gauge. Thanks!

I suspect that is a proprietary coupling used on cheap Chinesium tools. I have one like it on a leakdown tester.

It looks like the fittings used by best-fittings.co.uk. The call them foster style I believe.
