Hi, Gang--

This was made by Atlast Manufacturing, a company now out of business. The patent number, 4,169,395, identifies it as a screw removing tool--which makes sense. It takes 1/4" hex bits, and you could put a flathead bit into it as well.

Here's the problem: I seem to recall having seen this thing with a name of Snap-on, or Mac, or some such quality brand, and the company had figured out another use for it. Does anyone recall this or can you supply a Snap-on model number? I'd love to find out what else it does.

Thanks in advance.

Al
