I gotta say I’m very impressed by the width and depth of the knowledge and expertise that’s represented here!
I purchased a two-post lift about two years ago in an estate sale and am just now attempting to install it. First off, I am having
trouble identifying the make/model. I have tried to call the number for “TeamLift, Inc.” but no luck. I’m assuming they’re no longer around. Anybody got any ideas as to what this lift actually is?
The original total height of the lift is 12ft. The main columns are 9ft and it had 3ft-long square-tubing columns on top of that. I’ve had to cut off the top columns to get it to fit in my garage so I know I will have to shorten the load balancing cables, too. I believe it is asymmetric because the front arms are shorter than the rears and the columns are rotated 30° from each other. It has a 220V/3-Horsepower motor on it.
It would be great if anyone could help ID this lift because I'm sure I'll need to get parts for it. There is already a “hard nylon” strip that fell out of one of the columns when I stood it upright (see picture with tape measure in it). It had something like double-sided tape on one side. This is part of a slider bearing maybe? If so, I could use help finding a resource for getting replacements and also guidance on how to replace them.
