it looks like it was lightly polished and then a stain or emulsifier applied to it. either that or a clear coat of sealer or wax.
those floors are very durable. we have that at work and we run all kinds of things over it including forklifts and lots of foot traffic.
the emulsifier fills in or seals the pores so the concrete will not adsorb anything. the wax coat does about the same thing but also acts to seal it and give it some shine.
View media item 2346our floor had a coating that was peeling and bubbling in areas. it had some chips in the floor and there were some stains from before the coating was applied. I decided to have the coating removed, the concrete ground (we ground through the cream and into a agrigate a bit), an emulsifer applied and then a coat of wax. we rewax it once a year and do spor cleanup as needed
