Gray tools early black friday, found some of these tempting but didn't end up seeing anything I needed.
If anyone is looking for a shop press for occasional use, at $189 this may be worth looking at, going on sale this week:
A couple of years ago Lowe’s I bought the 35’ on sale. I like mine when I remember where I put the damn thing. I use it a lot outside nice not have to pull a tape through the dirt/mud. Handy for finding the centre and not having to get off the ladder. If I could do it all over I would have bought your model or higher.
This seems like the regular price elsewhere. Can't currently see any deals on them. I think Edmonton fasteners has a buy 2 Milwaukee products and get 7% off, but have a look.looking for a good deal on the Milwaukee 2127-20 currently kms has it for 50 off so its 249.00 here in BC
Haha, so...just after posting this I found a random Home Hardware (https://lacretehomehardware.ca/milwaukee-2727-21hd-chainsaw-kit) that had the kit for 549.99 and Home depot BC somehow matched (and beat!) The price by going through self-checkoutt so I got it for. 495 + tax.As a secondary - you guys see any deals on the 2727-21HD (Chainsaw Kit) lately ? Any flyers that might not be online ? (I'm in BC too)
I've got 2 Bosch's as well, and agreed on them being a bit of a standard bearer. You'll usually lose it before you break it.I have a different model, but I think generally Bosch's laser measurers are well-regarded and easy to use.

I have a couple of the 1/4 and 3/8 ones and they are great I have never broke one.Locking flex ratchets anyone? It's a hell of a deal. I have two more 1/4" on the way and already own one and a 3/8"

I would say they're the same as these Carlyle minus the comfort grip.
That's a pretty sweet hack!I have a couple of the 1/4 and 3/8 ones and they are great I have never broke one.
they are the same as the Tone ratchets and I actually used the Tone 3/8 compact rebuild kit in the princess auto 1/4 ratchet to make a long, locking flex head 1/4 body 3/8 drive ratchet. check my post history for photos!
Looks like the 1/4 is already out of stock and not in any store's near me. Going to order the 3/8 and 1/2 then see if the 1/4 shows up again and do your trick @BmxkelownaI have a couple of the 1/4 and 3/8 ones and they are great I have never broke one.

but kinda cool to see CT getting into the Hi-Viz game. Definitely a new item for sure. Pn 058-0466-6

Those XL wrenches are sweet. I've got the non-flex version and they're fantastic if something gets stuck - plus ratcheting means it's not as slow as trying to turn a fastener with a long-handled regular wrench. All kinds of stuff on 50%ish off at Crappy, but these really caught my eye. I didnt buy, because, well I need more ratchets like a hole in the headbut kinda cool to see CT getting into the Hi-Viz game. Definitely a new item for sure. Pn 058-0466-6
They also had the extra long DBE flexhead Gearwrenches on for half off, $149. Im pretty sure the wife got me those for![]()
She told me to get lost so she could shop for a while lol

As a follow up to this, I have had an older inch-lb Maximum for near a decade and works great, calibration is still on.A couple Xmas gifts I got that are still on sale.
The long ratchet wrenches like I suspected above.
And a Maximum 1/4" inlb Torque Wrench. Ive had really good luck with CT torque wrenches over the years. I guess they were $69 or so at the time (half off), now theyre back to regular price $140.

The digital 3/8" Maximum I picked up on the other hand is dead just outside the 1 year I had it. Going to see if I can fix/get it fixed but utterly unimpressed by it.
I’d noted, too. With Lowe’s selling off its Canadian stores, I wonder how much of that is due to trying to get dead stock off the books and move to the new strategy as the new ownership takes over?I think it's a huge clearance there.
Thanks, I took you up on your RONA suggestion and placed a couple of orders. A couple of things I found weird....pick-up at store only and they only search the contents of "MY STORE" for your order, no others apparently. This is one item they could not deliver on, despite showing four available.Hi everyone! Just to share with you that Rona has good deals online now. Too many to mention but some Craftsman drills, Dewalt, Bosch, Craftsman, Freud blades for sawzall at more than 50% off. Bits, water pumps, Greenwork batteries... I think it's a huge clearance there.
