Canadian Blower & Forge DP15
Picked this one up for a song recently, and am rather happy with it after getting it loaded (thanks Nathan) and brought home. Purchased from local area high school which is amalgamating with another, so a bunch of machines are redundant now.
Original paint is in good condition, few broken bolts in usual places (motor tension adjustment)
and the worst arc of shame I've ever seen.
But it has a very handy table adjustment mechanism and is 3phase which will be very nice as I want this DP for metal work. Motor even has original tags attached.
I think I will check runout and decide then to clean it up & teplace bearing or get it going as is.
Then get into the issue of wiring it to a new vfd, and a few options to make it better for metal work.
Few pics for now, no timeline for this one so it could a while before much progress is made.
