Just finishing off my 1 1/2 car garage ..
The garage was painted with left over beige paint from the family room that I added a quart of black to,, It ended up a sort of blue grey colour.
The AC Delco cabinet (posted earlier) was made from some left over shelving, painted white and the stencils were made with my daughter's "Cricut"(used for scrap booking) and spray painted. Yes, Hot & Cold hose bibs !
I made the Lotus logo from a piece of tinplate and, yes a stencil I cut using the cricut. I spray painted the yellow and green leaving the tin exposed, then clear coated it.
The tire rack was made using the angle iron from a old bed frame I was throwing out.
I used some 3" pvc pipe with end caps and with the jig saw cut the slots in them to make getting short pieces easy to get out.

New additions to my garage art...
Chrysler "Wings" from a dealership and a 300 grill
Large "Goodyear" letters

The 20' extension ladder is suspended by a hook on the ceiling at the (right side) and a small 120 volt winch (left side).

Really nice work. Lots of ingenious storage and display ideas. I'm curious what the story is behind the hubcap. Just seems a bit out of place given the Lotus signs. First car, perhaps?

First car was a 23 Chev .. The hubcap was left over from costly accident (sons)
You have alot of great detail in your garage .. how did you do the lettering on the bulkhead?

A '23 Chev? What are you, 100 years old?! LOL

Funny you would mention the bulkhead lettering, I just took it all down today. Kept the big one in the middle, but the rest are now off.

Here's a pretty good, but expensive website for custom lettering:

Not 100 , only half of that. The 23 was my first restoration project I started when I was 15.
Where did you pick up the floor mat clips ??
