Is this a Canadian build Snap on box?
Are there any differences in quality with the US build ones.

Yes, I think that is something like a KC515*; there will be a stamp in the rear showing the model number and COO.

The Canadian production was the same as the USA stuff...

The Canadian plant mainly built the KRA line and some of the smaller boxes. Good stuff. Now all production is in Algona, Iowa.

That being said, Snap-on is a global company and there is a tool box production plant in China but the boxes built in that plant are not built for the US market.

Looks like a 70's box. There were a number of boxes only produced for the Canadian market. That looks like a KRA56 but missing one long drawer, usually the Canadian market boxes were very similar to the US KRA boxes but with a slight twist. Their model numbers usually started with a KC vs the KRA in the US. IIRC KC515 or something like that. As mentioned it should be stamped on the back.
