Just opened my Canadian tire flyer and found that Mastercraft now offers 3/4 drive tools, or at least just a set, including ratchet, long ext, short ext, sliding T bar, and sockets; regular $ 249.99 now $119.99 on sale. I dont need it I`m just surprised to see them get into the bigger stuff. Hate their new return policy anway, now that they are asking for a receiept for broken tools.

Princess Auto has em on sale for $59.00 or there abouts when they are on sale. Chi all the way though. I wonder how they compare.

Receipt's are a no brainer these days.
I scan them and down load them to my computer. Then I have them on my back up hard drive. Every so often I burn them to a disk. Then I put the recepts in an envelope and put them in the file. I have them going back to the 60's It only takes a second while watching TV.

In the early eighties, I bought Mastercraft 3/4" drive sockets off a clearance shelf for $2 ea. so they are not new. There were dozens of each size. Could have bought them all, but instead put the word out to friends that I thought would be interested.

Not sure on that story, they might just have been a special order. That size drive is not a big mover at any time.
