I have been looking at this press for 5 years sitting outside.. so decided to see if it was for sale . He said a guy in montana was coming to get it 5 years ago. So I offered him a $100.00 dls.

I am looking for a hand wheel that is missing on the auto feed shaft. I would guess 4 to 5 inch diameter 3/4 shaft..

Places like McMaster Carr and Carr Lane sell machine handles. Even cast iron ones that would be appropriate for the machine. You will have to finish the bore though.

As for the handwheel, search ebay for a used machine hand wheel. You might have to bore it out and key it, but you will have a pretty good selection that would match the machine.

Looks great, nice Job! I have a Canedy Otto camel back drill press. You might be able to find a picture of one like yours on the vintage machinery site to show you what the missing wheel looked like:

ThanksI posted it there too . I did find a similar one . I also need to find a motor. From my research it used a 8 pole 900rpm motor . Wich are hard to find. So I am thinking of an older 3 phase and Vfd

Tha taper is #3 MT. It came with this jacobs #4 chuck ,pat sep 16 1902

Started working on the table . Considering its age it is in very good condition.
Also finished the auto feed and kick out mechanism. All seems to function perfectly.
