Cannot Find Allen Sockets Set in 1/4 Drive

I am looking for an Allen head socket set, for my 1/4" ratchet. Who makes them? My motorcycle tool kit are 1/4 drive. I carry a 1/4 to 3/8 converter but that makes the height taller and have trouble getting into tight spots. 1/4 drive Allen sockets are also skinnier to get deep into tight spots.

sk makes them. they also make a good bit holder for 1/4 inch hex bits to custum make whatever you want.

MSC has them in proto,sk,made in china and if memory serves armstrong.

Ko-ken have them in 25mm long & 100mm long 2.5 mm to 10mm excluding 9mm, also in imperial sizes 1/8" to 3/8"

Snap on also do then in stubbie hexs which has been a lifesaver

I would buy a bit holder, then you outfit yourself with all of the hex bits and torx bits. Probably cheaper that way also. I use the SO master bit set at the house, and it's worked really good. I've had it for about 6-7 yrs, and have not had to replace any bits.

I just got some Toptul 1/4" drive metrics from Mike a couple weeks ago. I've been using them on the bike and like them quite a bit. Too early to say anything about long term durability, but they feel high quality so far. They were ridiculously cheap, something like $.60-$.70 a piece. They may be a little higher now but I doubt you can get anything cheaper even at Harbor Freight.

Depending on how much room you have in your toolkit you may want to consider the 1/4" adapter and individual bits. That should take up quite a bit less space. The individual sockets are a lot more convenient if space isn't at a premium.

Last I looked they were the crappy SK pined ones, or the 1/4" hex insert type. I have the later they are useful but of no use in certain situations for me.

I found an off brand on e-bay pretty cheap and they have worked really good. But other than that it seems only the hi-end brands have the 1/4" drive ones and they have the hi-end price.

E-bay can be your friend at times you just have to be careful.

I have broken almost every bit out of it. I ended up having to buy new ones because the Snap On guy took the broken ones and a few months later said that was not true so I never got replacements.

Assenmacher Specialty Tools has some that look nice. I do not have any of their allen sockets, but everything that I have bought from them has been top notch.
