Question, what did you use at the garage door threshold to make sure you cover the edge of the leading tiles? Looks outstanding. I'm going to run the numbers to see if it's feasible for my new 36X60 that's being built right now.

i used two 8' x 2" x 1/8" aluminum strips. they are the same thickness as the vct. i got them in the building material section from HD. i put them down with liquid nails(industrial strength) and about 5 counter sunk concrete screws dipped in liquid nails. i then sanded the top of the strips and screw heads with 100grit and went over the top of them at the same time i laid out the 1109 clear epoxy.

I like it all man. My floor unfortunately slopes slightly inwards rather than towards the doors. I plan to have a float of concrete done to correct that and then something along the lines of what you've done. Great job.

Quick question:

Can you explain how you laid it out? It looks like you started in the middle and worked out. But the confusing part is the pictures where the tiles are near the left wall, and appear to be cut in half, with room still to go to the wall. What happened there? And how did that work out?

Haugy, I was thinking the same thing but then thought that the tiles are 12 inches square 370z used four of them to make 2 foot square. The very last tile near the wall looks to have been cut slightly to finish the floor. But I might be wrong.

I found the center of the room and made an X and Y axis line. I started in the center and worked out from there. The first day I layed the left half of the garage. Day 2 I laid out the right half of the garage(still working fromt he center out. It also helps if you lay the tiles like a stair step pattern so you have 2 sides to help stay square.

To prep the tile for clear epoxy I used my 5" orbital sander and 100grit sand paper
