I sure can't catch a break in the weather, so I can start my floor. 7 inches of snow today, and temps going to be in the mid twenties the rest of the week. I am so ready for nice weather so I can get my new Rock Solid floor put down!!

Look at it this way, now you have a little more time to make sure you really want to use their product. There is still an opportunity to switch to epoxy.

If I were going for a high-bucks floor install, I would wait until the spring / summer months when temperatures are more optimal...

I think KYWILDCAT is one of the "lucky 10" if I am not mistaken. I also am one of the 10. The way I look at it, is any product that has a better life than the cheap **** that the home improvement stores offer is a step better than the 45 yr old stained, nasty looking, crappy floor I have now. If I was looking for absolute perfection I would hire the project done, but I am willing to take my time, put in my effort and realize that it may not turn out perfect. My first full car spray job was a great 20 footer, and I knew going in that it may turn out that way. If I wanted to ***** about it I only had myself to blame. All Dupont products, base clear job, and I spared no expense, but my inexperience led to some difficulties that others noticed and many that only I could see. I was my own worst critic, but the bottom line is, if you try something that you are not a professional at, then be ready to accept a few problems. We get that some have had problems with this product in the past and maybe the product is not the absolute best stuff since sliced bread but lets put it in perspective here, it is a FLOOR. To others that look at our 20 footer, it still will look like a showpiece compared to their own nappy *** sorry looking oil stained floors that look just like mine does now and hopefully will not in a couple of weeks.
