The guy I bought my house from left me a compressor. It is kind of built into a closet and not easy to access. He did not give much info on it, but he thought it was possibly used in a dental office previously. I am unable to even find the company online. I would like some general maitnence tips. Never really owned anything but those small $99 portable compressors. Does this need oil changes? How often? How much? What type of oil? Anything else to be done routinely? I don't use it terribly often, but I don't want to neglect it either. Sorry the pictures are terrible. It's really in a tough spot.

I can't really help other than to confirm dental compressor. I got what looks like the same in a trade and the PO was a dentist. They quit being useful in a dentist office when oil gets in the airlines.

For the time being check the oil, don't worry about changes till you find out specifics, If its clean and full it wont hurt to run it. Most compressors will run 1000's of hours on an oil service.
