I could swear I saw it mentioned in a trade magazine recently but can't find it now. It connects to the schrader valve in the fuel rail and puts gas into the system under normal pressure letting the engine start and run. Bypasses the fuel pump, relay, fuses, fuel filter, bad gas, etc. and lets you eliminate those items as being defective. Anyone know who makes it or what brand it is?

Are you thinking of a fuel-injection-system cleaning canister? Like the OTC 7448? https://www.otctools.com/products/fuel-injection-cleaner-canister

It is not originally intended for what you mention, but could certainly do that. I believe BG and other companies also make equivalent devices. There are a slew of attachments that work with these canisters to fit the specific application - the OTC I linked to above has a very small quick-connect on it that would connect to a Schrader-valve adapter for the scenario you mention.

Similar but I think this tool has a built-in electric fuel pump. Regardless, I found the issue causing truck to barely run and for what I wanted this tool, spider web in MAF sensor, but still want the tool for future diagnostics. Tool would have ruled out the fuel systems as defective.
