Reminds me of the tool to remove the bolt on hub caps Cadillac used. Kind of useless if you don't have those hubcaps and extremely valuable if you.

I recall one Gal who cleaned out her glove box and tossed a piece of junk away... Things were great until it was time to have the tires rotated... The tire shop described what they needed to remove the locking hub caps.... Then she called the dealership and asked me if that could possibly be what she had tossed... Yep it was.... So We had to get the code off the hub cap locks and order her a new one...
