Hello,

I've finally had it with the current lighting in my 29 (wide) x 31 (deep) 3 car garage. I'm embarrassed to say I've been living with 4 CFL bulbs in this garage for far too long, and am looking for opinions on how to improve this with LED lighting.

It's a daily use garage, but is my main place for weekly washing/waxing cars (inside), vehicle maintenance and modifications.

I've been reading quite a bit here, and have been playing with the visual interior tool. Since my garage is a 3 car, and it's layout is a little unique, I'm not sure the visual interior tool really has the best layout. I'm thinking I should move the lights more in the walking areas between the cars, but I'm here for feedback and a lighting layout request if at all possible (Platonic??!)

I've attached a DXF of my garage for reference (rename .pdf to .dxf). Ceiling height is 9'6". Workbench, sink, and attic opening are the 3 unidentified rectangles.

Budget? <$500 if possible

Current fixtures I'm leaning towards are (but am very open to others):
PLT TXFC232X1 2-Lamp T8 LED Tube Ready 4ft Linear Utility Pre-Wired Strip Light Housing: 1000Bulbs $12.99 ea.

Bulbs: LEDMyplace WEN-T8-4FT-18WF(4000K) 48" 18W LED T8

What's the ceiling height? Seems like 8' strips would be half as much work if you can find some in your price range. I switched from 32 4' fixtures to 16 8' fixtures, it was maybe 20% more for the fixtures but half as much work.

1st of all I got the same lite fixtures (24) and love them. They are well made and hold the toomstones very tight. Also if you register on the site and get a Quote..Say you saw guys here at GJ could get %10 off. Ask for %10 off....does not work on shipping.
This company charges a lot to ship from TEXAS. So, fill out how many fixtures at check out....enter the ZIP and see what they shipping will be. I did a zip of 53001 and the shipping is $78 that adds $4.87 per Fixture(16)... $11.70+4.87 = $16.57 per..so not the best deal but right in line with most. Your bulbs say out of stock ATM. I went with Lumegens (5K) all a matter of taste from what I hear. But they have 4K also(code also gets you %10 off) All I know is P.S. was a great help and his advice was AWESOME. I thing for sure is get FROSTED. Some pic's of the Fixtures

*Note*
I also went from 3--96" T12 fixtures to what I have now.
I was almost at 80 Fc think it was 76 or 78....you will not be disappointed
