Can't use a VPN?

In this day and age, we're all constantly being spied on by scumbags. So having a vpn, is one of several necessary steps to make sure that you're secured and private, for the most part. If you're a principled person like me, this is important. I'm not going through all of their stuff, or following them around like some kind of creep, and I demand the same respect. So VPN is needed.

Doesn't seem like this forum wants me to use one. I have to disconnect it if I want to browse the garage journal. Otherwise everything loads like this is the year 1996. I've even gotten some messages that simply say "Access denied". I'm using Private Internet Access, probably the best, most popular VPN. I have it set to show me coming from Houston TX, so it's using a server there.

This is the only forum that I have this trouble with. The others don't seem to mind. So I'd like to request that the administrators make the necessary changes so that I can visit the garage journal with no problems when using a VPN. Thank you

I use a VPN and have no issues accessing the site. Usually use a Server in the US.

A lot of forum software is set to ban VPN's otherwise it's nearly impossible to actually ban a OP or spammer since they can simply change VPN's and user names and come right back.

I am also using a VPN and have no issues. Posted now while VPN is on. Sounds more like PIA and GJ don't play nice, compared to all VPNs

Not all VPNs are created equal, PIA is considered to be one of the best if not the best. IIRC there's only one other one that's comparable. Some VPNs leave out certain things that you definitely want, so it makes me wonder if that might have something to do with it. The site does work... sort of. Looks like it's from the early days of the internet though.

Also I'm getting the "site not secured" warning in my address bar. The little lock has the yellow warning symbol next to it.

EDIT: That was only when making my first post. It went away when I was done making the post, and it's gone for this edit. Hmm... something's definitely off. I think it's time for the admins to comment. I know this is a business and we're the product, but it would still be nice if my vpn worked.
