Need a shop light fixture that attaches to a wall, cantilever outs approx 8 feet, and can support a couple of light fixtures. One light at the far end, and one about 4ft from the wall.

Interior use.

Ceiling hangers not practical in this application.

Ideas gratefully received.

Could you use aircraft cable to rig it back to the wall?

How about fabbing up a mount like a jib crane/pillar hoist ? It'll allow you to swing it where you want.

Might be useful when you bring that bird inside ?

Excellent ideas everybody.

Eric - I've been thinking along the same lines, just hoping I could find something to bolt on, as opposed to custom fabbing.

What was I thinking?! :)
