I picked up one of these as a potential replacement for my Gearwrench 84T. Functionally, the GW is fine, but IMO it needs to go on a serious diet. (I do too, but we're not going to talk about that) The GW feels like a boat paddle with a square drive...

The Capri is a nice tool and the size is right. The machine work and chrome are flawless and the backdrag is pretty good. A bit lighter than the GW anyway. My issue with the ratchet isn't one of materials or workmanship, but of design. The Capri uses a single, bat-shaped pawl and there's nothing wrong with that but the backlash is pretty bad. In order to catch the next tooth on the gear, the ratchet has to be rotated 2x the distance between the teeth. IOW, the ratchet teeth are 5° apart, but the ratchet must be turned 10° to catch the next tooth. I'm probably picking nits, but that's just too much slop for my tastes.
