Sorry, I don't have any Husky bits to compare them to. I feel the Capri bit sockets I have are as good as my Vim, better than the Gearwrench (Taiwan made Vintage) I have, or at least equal to the MAC branded, Taiwan sourced versions I have. Strictly my experience with what I work on, your results may vary.

It's not often that I've seen Capri rail sets at half off. :dunno:
For some, it might be more of a lukewarm deal than a hot deal

Is Capri much better than Husky? These are about regular price for Husky.

I have a couple of the Capri blow molded case sets, I’m very satisfied with the quality. The chroming is much better than Husky and the tools fit the fasteners tighter. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more.

Awesome, thanks man! I'll be grabbing a set tomorrow, love that they are different driver sizes too, I was in the market for a set!

Long Torx set came today. Time will tell but they are very nice looking. I think I'm going to get the long hex while the sale is on. That's a good price.

The cases look identical to the current Cornwell sets.. guessing Capri is either the OEM for Cornwell on these or they share the same OEM??

I ordered a set of the long torx sockets. Still less than the Gearwrench 10pc set from Advance after discounts.

Received my E-Torx set of 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive along with a nice rail and free shipping. Appears to be good quality and finish.

Received the standard and long regular torx sets on Friday, used them for a job on saturday. very nice quality, especially for the price. they're all straight, unlike some of my SK and Proto hex bit sockets.
thanks for posting the sale.

I was so happy with my hex bits, I went ahead and ordered a set of the Star bit sockets too.

Using the credits I got for signing up and for the set of long Torx sockets I bought, I got a set of long hex bit sockets for $18.75. That's two sets for less than $44.00. No tax or shipping.

I bought a set of Pittsburgh sockets last year as a backup for the camper. Some of the sets on the peg were China and some were Taiwan. No matter what you buy from HF, you need to look at it critically.

For the money, these are definitely sold, especially the free shipping.

However their choice of drive size is somewhat maddening for the long Torx set. T30 should not be 1/4 drive, and the T50 should 1/2 not 3/8.

That said I’ve wanted the $40 tekton set all 3/8 drive for a long time but couldn’t pull the trigger at that price. It’s worth the cost savings to go with the Capri

Thanks for posting this. I don't need any more bit sockets, but for $25 a set couldn't pass it up :lol_hitti

Darn it guys, I couldn't resist any longer. I realized that I don't have any long Torx sockets so I bought some. :)

I've been eyeing this and I broke a couple of star bits today in this Craftsman set. I don't know if the fitting I was trying to remove is reverse threaded or what, but I was kinda surprised at how easily they broke. Maybe I'm just a lot stronger than I think I am. If I had planned properly, I would have invited some women over to watch.

Anyway, I may be pulling the trigger on some of these. Does this sale last the entire month. Is there any way to tell?

I ordered the standard Torx set today and it's supposed to be here Tuesday. I'm in Michigan, so that's a pretty impressive ship time from California. I earned $5 in rewards points and now I'm tempted to order the hex sets.

Heck yeah man, that's what I ended up doing. I ordered the long Torx for $25 and then ended up getting the metric hex for like $18.75 with reward points for the first order plus the sign up bonus points.

They are great bits. Some of the best I’ve used. If I needed them I’d definitely buy them.

I got $5 for creating an account, but that was after I had already placed my order. Maybe I missed out on a couple bucks by not creating it as part of my initial order.

I'm just a homeowner, so I don't have tons of use cases. The only reason I bought these is because I broke two bits out of a Craftsman set last weekend trying to remove a fitting from a Stihl lawn edger attachment so I could grease the gearbox. I was surprised how easily they broke.

I was torn on whether to get the long Torx bits vs the standard length. I'm sure the long bits would have offered more versatility, but I thought the short ones might be a little stronger. At one point I had every set that was on sale in my cart, but eventually told myself I'll never use/need all of them. On the other hand, I grew up on a pretty big farm and like to tinker with stuff, and I also try to do as much of my own mechanic work as possible. I'm also of the mindset that it's better to have something and not need it, than need it and not have it.

These are still on sale as of right now. They still have the April flyer up on their site, so it's possible they just haven't adjusted pricing for May.

Yes they are always giving points and credit. That’s one thing I like about them too. That’s why I order from their site because you don’t get them ordering from the other places. I’ve got several points I could probably get a big discount with the points I have.
