Capri vs Zoro delivery

I ordered these MaxChrome Capri combos on Apr 30 and received them May 04. I ordered some Gearwrench sockets on May 01 from Zoro, estimated shipment date May 23 with no estimated delivery date. Free shipping on both. I cancelled a previous Zoro order because they kept delaying the shipping dates (note plural) and I got pissed, but for all the trouble I received a 10% off code on the next order which is this one. Will have to see how Zoro does this time.

These Capris are gorgeous, almost too pretty to use. The box ends are WaveDrive profile, but the open ends are not the aggressive WaveDrive Pro. Lengths are 5-1/2" for the 8mm to 15-1/2" for the 30mm. They were out of stock for the missing 27mm so I'll get that one later when I order some of their reversible ratcheting wrenches.

Big toe included for dramatic effect.

I think Capri & Tekton source their regular combination wrenches from the same supplier.

Chances are Gearwrench is having supply chain issues and Zoro may dropship direct from Gearwrench. :dunno:

OP, I canceled my drop-ship order from Zoro recently for some Wright stuff. They delayed the items for several months and I originally thought it was Wright but the problem was on Zoro's end. I'll never order anything drop-shipped from Zoro again since this was the third time I had problems with a drop-ship order. If it's in stock though, Zoro is on top of it. Capri shipping has always been slow for me but it's coming from across the country so I expect it. Congrats on the new wrenches!

I don't have any Tektons to compare. Though Tekton doesn't advertise the WaveDrive or similar profile, that doesn't mean their not from the same supplier. Web pics show a similarity. Anyhow, Capri has Tekton beat in prices by a little.

I cancelled a drop ship order for some Klein drivers through Zoro. I'm not too upset about it, they are on back order just about everywhere. It's the world we live in at the moment :dunno:

Been ordering from Zoro for over a decade and never had any issues, even dropped shipped items. Had backorder issues a year or so back, but that was a supplier issue, not Zoro.

Guess I got lucky with my recent ZORO order. They shipped quick. They also just dropped a $100 ratchet in an unpadded plastic mailer and hoped for the best. It arrived fine, but still..

I'm not a Zoro hater, just had a few bad experiences. I would not write them off and would try them again.
