Nice find! I for one would have paid a lot more than that for it! Sounds like a bargain to me. As for filling it, give it to me and I guarantee it's filled up in a half-hour.

Hardware, router bits, sawblades, wrenches, sockets; the possibilites are endless. Great deal!

Now I have to ask what is a "car boot"?

In this day of everybody switching to digital storage the office surplus market is full of stuff like this.

Interesting, I was assuming car boot was trunk, then I saw the picture and wondered how someone had lost something that big in the trunk!

Oh, so the term "car boot" used by the OP seems like what we might call a swap meet or flea market?

I learned something new on a garage forum.

How is forcing someone to pay up on "PAST DUE" tickets extortion?

We call them wheel clamps, they don't need to wait to use them here, slap the ticket on and immediately clamp, the clamp removal fee is often more than the parking ticket, at least they have banned their use on private car parks now, only council owned car parks where at least the clampers are working within the law and not just clamping anybody and demanding payment.

Nice shallow file cabinet especially for £20
I missed a similar half height one at a boot sale this year, watched the guy 50' in front of me drag it away.

That is very cool!

In all my CL travels I've never seen one like that for sale.

Looks like it has a brown wrinkle finish like a Kennedy box?

I am learning a new language with this thread: Denver Boot, car boot, Kennedy box, and wheel clamp?

Very true! And if I use these terms out here, no one will know what I am talking about. This is interesting.

Police don't like it when their boot is cut for scrap... typically will send you the bill.

Car boot sale = flea market tailgate (vs. a football game tailgate ~ gridiron football not soccer)

I learned something today (car boot I knew, sale was a new one on me)

Cheers!!
