Another very happy Advantage 4 post lift owner (DX9000-XLT). Tony was great to deal with. A "movable" list is much more versatile than you would think. Some 3/4" plywood and some 2x4 bracing under it and you have a very sturdy work deck( exactly 3.5" from the top of the runways to the top of the jack track). for installing a metal ceiling 14' high. Or you can use it as a gantry to install a floor level motorcycle table lift. Only limitations are your imagination and of course weight. Heck I even use it to work on my truck at times, lol

My 5’2”, seventy year old wife and I installed two Advantage four post lifts, with no other assistance.

The XLT 9000 lb was easier than the bigger 11000 lb unit.

You need equipment to lift and flip the ramps, but you can rent that if you don’t have something with forks. An engine hoist will work. Look at the dozens of YouTube videos out there.

Really depends on how handy and resourceful you are.
Thank you guys. Even with my 10 thumbs, maybe I could manage it. The only thing that scares me a bit are the ramps - those do not look light! Lol.

I used the engine hoist to lift the ramps in place. Wouldn't attempt to lift by myself. In fact I've also disassembled then reassembled the lift when I moved. Both times using the hoist. It's a common method as I understand

You can do it all by yourself without any special tools if you use your noodle. A second person is definitely handy for a few parts, even if you just get 10-15 minutes of their time. The ramp with the ram is the heaviest part you have to work with, it's 4-500lbs.

I agree with post above , me and my wife did the HD-9 in about 5 hours, ramps are awkward, I had a friend help me with them. R
