Their website doesn't seem to list that item currently.

So . . . what parts would you use to make this yourself?

I like how his wife (2nd car) still parks so close to his Jag that she'll ding his door getting out....

Who knows?
Interesting yes, but I think I would pass.

The only way I would use this is if my shop was the size of a warehouse. I'd push a vehicle to be worked on, on to the slides. Slide it down to the far end and roll it off. Almost like a conveyor system.

It's a neat idea, i think it's really cool that you could make it slide so easy. But in real use, not so sure it would be all that useful. They didn't show the wife trying to get out of her car after parking it. Her door was sooo damn close to the first car it would be VERY VERY difficult to get out and back in. Not something you'd deal with on a daily basis unless you absolutely had to. Most people would much rather just park outside than deal with that.

If there were enough space for her to exit her car easily, i think the cool gadget might not be necessary at all.

The driver of the 2nd car had plenty of room to get out of their car without door dings.
Those cars are right hand drive.

It's a British company and cars. They are right hand drive vehicles but if one of them learnt to reverse park the gadget isn't required.

It's interesting. I'd use something like that to squeeze three cars into the garage during winter time, although Gojacks would probably be enough since I'd only move the third car at the beginning and end of the season..

Another thought would be to flush mount them with the floor..

He doesn't really need a mechanical slide. Can't he just push the Jag dsideways on the oil it left on the floor?

Turns out I could really use these, my garage door entry is partially blocked by the house such that I don't have a straight shot into the right side slot, which means it goes in at an angle, which in turn causes the second car to need to park way to the left side making getting out a royal pain and with high potential for door damage. I've been using go-jacks but boy what a pain.

Anyone know who sells these in the US and what the cost might be?

I would rather park outside. If you wife is home and you go to leave you would have to move her car out then push yours over to leave. Seems like a PIA. But then again I have a garage full of machine tools so my judgement is impaired. I haven't had a car in my garage in over a year.

Well to be fair you would at least need a winch to pull it because you have no foot traction. :bounce:
