How do you guys store your car ramps? These things take up good space. The first guy to post a photo of an in ground lift will be cursed with armpit fleas.
If I'd posted this question, it would have been days before anyone responded.
Why is that

DynaBill, I curse thee. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits!
We've got a slanted driveway but it's flat up near the garage. We use the ramps for the car's oil change. I never had to use them.

Oh man, it worked. ((((scratch, scratch, itch, scratch, itch, itch)))![]()
Bill i heard walmart was having a sale on flea collars,Might want to swing by there.
You need to include a curse. It raises the stakes a little bit. Then you get high rollers like DynaBill![]()

I don't think that was it!![]()

Nahh, that can't be the only reason, err, they can't be the reason why![]()

I threw mine out in the scrap metal pile a couple months ago, I haven't missed them yet.
It seems like more work to drive up on a set of ramps than it does to just pick up the car with a floor jack.
Hey now! Wait a minute!![]()
I believe you have fleas to deal with. You've only been hit with the fleas of 113 camels.
O.K. seriously. I never could find an easy way to store car ramps. They're not the prettiest thing to look at, so I never hung them on the wall. They were more of a pain to use than anything else. They would slide every time I tried to drive a car up on them and I would have to allow for 3 ft. of sliding room when I tried to use them in my garage. I finally gave up and got a floor jack and jack stands. Sold the ramps in a garage sale.
Oh my God, how long is this thing going to last? I'm wearing out my rear paws and my ears are raw!![]()
Yeah, my rhino ramps sit on a shelf way high in the garage and I never use them. When I do, they either slide across the concrete, or I have to make a couple trys at it to get everything lined up the way I like. I should just CL them and buy some more jack stands.
I made a set for big trucks years ago with the platform and ramp sections seperate so they would stack nice under the bench. Gave them to a farmer neighbor after the trucks were gone.
What does DH stand for? All I can think of is **** Head, Dumb Hump, Dumb Husband.

Can be all the above, but usually 'dear'. You know that's the second time I've been asked that tonight. What should I call him on forums anyway? I see guys call their wives SWMBO or the OL, but what are guys called?![]()

^^ this...and I add in the "...but I'm your AH, dear"I have been trained to respond to AH.

I know that tune all too well. They do seem to slide after a few years of using them, I have to **** mine against a concrete lip now. I pray for the day when I am blessed with a 4 post lift so I can end all of this nonsense and wasted time.Yeah, my rhino ramps slide across the concrete, or I have to make a couple trys at it to get everything lined up the way I like.
