Mine are sitting under the back deck off the house. I can't recall the last time I used them, but I hate the thought of getting rid of them.

My last set (from my uncle now long passed) lived there and they disintegrated. I replaced them with an exact pair (CL / Kijiji find if I recall correctly) and still don't use them too often!

Hello gtcs1, It's actually an old Autolifters Tilt Lift...It's 17' 6" long with the rear ramps in the down position..I have it set in the lowest postion, which is approx 15" off the ground..It is adjustable up to approx 26"...When the car is off of the lift, the front of the lift is actually off of the ground, and as you drive up it comes down. You kinda have to get the hang of it, as it can come down pretty hard....It's a great lift for me, as its displays my prized Stang, and it doubles as a storage area when I have house projects going on...Right now I have a few hundred square feet of thin brick underneath my car, and the car can still be moved in and out of the garage..

Here's a good link I found on corvetteforum:

I had an opportunity to buy a set of those for $800 a few years ago. Wish I had now...I have low ceilings, so no go on a real lift.
Maybe a MAX JAX soon?

I paid $600, and they are tough to find...I have a low ceiling also, it goes nice with my Snappy mid rise next to it...

Hi,

Learning new stuff every day. That triggerred me to search on the web, and I found this one, where you don't need to tilt it while driving. Anyone experienced it ?

http://kwiklift.com/features-all.htm

Thanks

I looked at it years ago...Not a bad unit...I personally would wait till I found a used one for $800 or less..I see them up for sale every now and then...It's nice to have a drive on and a mid rise..(When you don't have the height for a large lift.)
