Car Trailer Storage

Why overthink it? My trailer has stabilizer jacks in the rear. I drive my Jeep onto it all the time not hooked to the truck. Between the tongue jack and stabilizer jacks it doesn't even slide when I start driving up on it.

The tricky part is getting the trailer in the garage tongue first.

My trailer isn't low enough or the garage isn't tall enough, I couldn't fit the trailer with a car on it in the garage.

I respect your desire to take care of your trailer. In my area most people abuse the heck out of them and then park them in the weather and sun 365 days/year.

I just built a new garage and I have the exact same issue. My plans are to install a metal carport in the spot where I park the trailer outside my garage. I only have two bays and don't plan to have one permanently filled with my trailer. Make a place for your trailer.

Here is one place that sells them. You can get them ANY size or height.

There's a guy in a subdivision not far from me, who had his back deck built to where he could back his car trailer under it so it would be hidden. His layout on his property and driveway was ideal for what he did, and this idea wouldn't work for everyone....but it's another idea on what to do with a trailer.

I'm lucky in as much as I have several covered/enclosed spaces for my my trailer. From time to time, I will load a car the night before when I'm leaving in the early AM and have it under cover. Since I sold my Airstream, I put the car trailer in the "hanger" that is open at both ends. I also use the space between the cargo containers in my avatar for winter boat storage.

Agreed with above statement, but I say build a lean to to put it under. Mine just sits outside though.
