I have not touched a carburetor from a car engine in over 40 years ! Of course I made my living for 31 of those year designing and developing fuel injection systems.

For small engine carbs, the only special tool you need is a jet screwdriver. Straight blade, moderately thick tip, but no outward flare. The main jet on most small engines sits at the top of the well where the emulsion tube goes.

I have a pile of carbs. Saved them for parts. Still get some old cars in with them.

Duro Chrome did offer gland nut sockets and Alamite sockets in their early catalogs. I have never seen any such listings in an Indestro catalog.

What you've got there is a different animal, but if it were either Duro or Indestro, I'd have to say Duro.
I'd be taking a much closer look at the shape of the arc on the driver handles where the knurled portion meets the straight shank, and at that open-end wrench in the background of one of the shots. I think those might be a better indicator of who OE was on those than just the sockets.

Just my lousy opinion, but I'd be more inclined to think that Carter would have outsourced those elsewhere - maybe Bonney or Herbrand (or any number of other outfits who were in the game at the time that set was made.)

I think you maybe right. This wrench looks a bit bonneyish....
