That's the neiko set. It has a USA label on the picture. It has good reviews. Looks like an oversize aluminum case?

That's the astro set. It has good reviews also. Same price. Looking at customer review pictures here I see a astro warranty card with the set. Can wear items like this actually be warrantied through astro? If so then I'm sold!

Anyone have experience with either of these?

Hopefully someone else can clear up the COO discrepancy for you so that I don't have to comment.

I can speak on our tools for you. Those are amazing burrs, in fact. And yes we have a warranty - these types of tools are wearable in that they can chip when you use them on brittle surfaces or welds. So we don't get too many people sending pieces back (we get maybe 6 a year) because it's basically understood. But if you feel so inclined, feel free to take advantage of the warranty. We'll honor it as long as we offer it.

The brand name is actually "Neiko USA" most of the stuff I've seen has been made in China.

It says under description Neiko is made in China. All things being equal I would buy the Astro ones, I own them. COO would be a game changer for me, but in this case it doesn't matter.

Basically manufacturer defect (when its new, any issues), for 1/4" burrs if it fails (i.e. bends, shaft cranks). But if you chip some carbide teeth and you feel it's something that should be warrantied I'm still going to take care of ya.

Astro set has given me no problems for the last couple of years. Bits are still sharp and work great. I can absolutely recommend them.
