Just ripped the carpet out of a cargo trailer I bought about ten years ago. I will be using it to haul my polaris rzr. Floor is plywood and I want to protect it from the mud I will be bringing into it after a days riding. Would like to pull up to a car wash and wash the rzr and wash all the dirt and mud out of the trailer. Any ideas on how to seal the floor and 6" up the walls? Deck water seal, outdoor paint, epoxy, vinal flooring, ???thanks in advance.

I would look into some sort of rhino lining or line x type of product to seal it all in together. I haven't done it and don't know if this would something I would DIY or pay a pro but at least if it's done correctly it should seal the entire surface in one piece.

I bought some rubber diamond flooring in mine. Much lighter than bed liner. Cost me $12 per linear foot in 8 foot wide

Don't use the 2ft square garage tile things, that is what I did, put the floor in March and then had to trim it like 5 times as it kept getting larger the warmer it got during the summer. Also seem to add a fair amount of weight. If I was to do it again I would probably do the rhino liner or thin aluminium diamond plate sheets.

Cheap kitchen flooring.
On the floor and up the walls as high as you want.
Silicon caulk at the floor/wall seam.

you will bust your *** on sheet vinyl. and the rhino type lining might get heavy. if you can afford it, its nice, but id get a weight on the product they will use for your size trailer.

What about the dimpled rubber garage floor rubber sheets? Usually in rolls about 8-10 feet wide, 20 feet long? Not terribly expensive and could be trimmed to fit with a knife.

Your adding a ton of weight. By rubber.

I would just use a good 2 part epoxy paint on both sides. You might even be able to get away with a 5 gal bucket of floor sealer/ polyurethane. The biggest thing is to just keep the water from soaking into the wood.

Might want to look into the newer paint they advertise for decks? Not sure on price. I have done spary in liner with a Schutz gun for ~$60 ( u-pol on sale).

A five gallon bucket of epoxy paint would weigh *more* than the vinyl floor cover sold commonly at stores.

I would like to seal it as you've mentioned, but for quick installation, the rubber / vinyl sheet is easy, and you can remove it to clean it.

I think there are pros and cons to both.
