Quite the collection, if you had them all together rolling down the highway it would look like the circus was coming to town with all their mobile units. Very Cool!

Carguy Fantastic garages and cars. I love your C10! Any chance you could post some pics of the engine bay. Would love to see what that 409 looks like.

Wow..... incredible!

Do you mind if I ask what you do/did for a living?

Cause, um, I think I need a career change.

`Thank you so much for the nice comments. I had so much fun designing and building the toy garages and really enjoy sharing them with others.

Pictures of the 65 Chev 409 pickup follow.

Thanks Carguy for the extra photos. The engine is absolutely beautiful. And you have the much sought after in dash tach! Do you happen to know what the 409 was rated in the pickups?

Love the big truck ('semi' in US speak?). What fun I would have with that if I had one to take my cars to the track! How many cars can it fit inside one of those?

The engine on the Chevy does look lovely. Is that how they would have come from the factory or is the restoration style there to make them look even better than they would look when new?

The 65 chevy pickup has a 252 HP truck 409 engine. This is known as the z20 option.

The Renegade hauler will easily haul 4 cars.

I now have drool all over the keyboard. Absolutely fantastic!!!!:drool:

1carguy.....If you don't mind me asking, what sort of work do you do? Does it have to do with cars, or is cars just your hobby?

And I have to ask, why even own a house. I could very easily live in the garage.

I have come close to purchasing gas pumps on several occasions. However, they really do not go with the theme of the toy garage which is to try to recreate a Chevrolet store from the 60's. Creating a theme first before starting the hunt for memorabilia really helped me focus on what I was looking for.

I collect gas pumps and globes. That is another hobby of itself! I just moved and getting ready to start my barn. I am going to post pics as I go. I have a basement garage that will store my nova and my gas and oil stuff.

Here is a pump I did last year. Original pump, original signs and globe! Only thing new besides paint is premium glass and hose. This is exactly how the Clark super 100 pump looked back in 60's.

One's toy garage can never be large enough. I decided to bite the bullet and double the size of my existing toy garage. I find I do not enjoy the cars on the lifts as much as I should and want to get all of the cars on the floor and get rid of the lifts in the show room. The new expansion will include a 26'x30' shop in the rear with 10'x8' glass garage doors opening into the expanded show room which will open into my existing toy garage showroom. Plan is to move the Challenger 2 post lift and one of the 4 post lifts into the new shop area. Floor plan is attached. Will post pictures as we progress. There will be a good sized office and entertainment area in the front.

I recently doubled the size of my toy garage and got rid of the lifts. Problem is I had floor outlets installed for the battery tenders installed based on the location of the lifts. Without the lifts they are not in the right location and I have to have cords exposed when plugging in the battery tenders. My floor is race deck and I have no concern about water on the floor as there will be none. I was wondering if anyone ran a line under the race deck to tenders and any advice that they might have.

Thanks for your help.

That Chevy truck and shops (as well as other cars) are AWESOME!

Do you got pics of your tool boxes and other stuff as well. Would love to see that!
