Carlyle flex head ratchet- A+

I just picked up one of these, 3/8, 12”, small flex head. I’m impressed , nice ratchet. NAPA lists a rebuild kit for it. On sale for 33 frogskins.

There was a whole thread on these a couple weeks ago and I mentioned a couple times that for the money they are very nice ratchets. I picked up two of the 1/2" and one 3/8".

That seems like a very reasonable price for the ratchet.

This is the ratchet w/a moving (forward/backward) & locking head I bought after a GJ thread about being able to buy pieces thru a Louisiana NAPA ad a few years ago. I see that if you look at the O.P.'s NAPA link, this ratchet shows up below the principal ad for the chrome ratchet. The covered-handle ratchet has a price of $92. I think it was ~$45 'way-back when.

That Louisiana NAPA ad was great, I also got a set of large dia metric impact sockets, and some opening flare-nut wrenches. A 1/4" in-lb torque wrench also.

I'm sure I bought mine probably from the same thread, think after I signed up for an account it was only $24. Wish I had bought three or four of them.

I picked up a couple of these a month ago, one for each truck toolbox. Crazy nice ratchet for the $$. I also got the 1/2" flex ratchet. I've been buying a lot of carlyle tools this quarter, some really nice deals going on.

I have one of these and really like it. No frills but works well and has a small head. Wish they made a 1/4" drive flex head version of it.

I just meant this same series of 60 tooth thin head ratchet! Though the locking flex does seem nice too and this is a much better price than I’ve seen it selling for usually
