Hey guys,
I really like the Carlyle socket rails because there available in 8, 12 and 15 inches long and also different colors to differentiate SAE and Metric but they are currently not available on NAPA online and my local napa doesn't have any. Does anyone else make the same thing (like same distributor) or something very similar. I don't want nor need anything more expensive or "better" these work very well for me just cant find more to purchase

I'm not sure about Napa in the states, but up here in Canada, if its in their catalog, they can order it. I was in charge of purchasing parts when I was towing, and made friends with all the local distributors, if they knew I was looking at particular tools, they'd let me know when the upcoming sales were. Talk to your local guy, if you have the part numbers, even better. They should be able to order in if it's still a current item, and if it's not, maybe they are connected enough to track some NOS for you.
If that fails, post pictures of what they look like, maybe one of the members has seen some sitting on a Napa display, and provide a store number and location.

I got something similar (maybe the same OEM) at Home Depot a few months back. Ball detent, 3/8 and 1/4 fit on the same rail, etc. At least 2 different lengths (the 1/4 was shorter than the 3/8). They were on the shelf next to the individual sockets.

There were also a different type back in the garage organization stuff (hooks, hangers, that sort of thing). Those were Tekton maybe?

They're not the same as the GearWrench rails. GearWrench clips slide inside the rail, Carlyle clips slide on the outside of the rail.

morillm06 - is your store not able to order them for you?

I do see that some appear to be out of stock online, so there might be a backorder from the supplier, but your local store should be able to order them, or find them wherever they might be in distribution.

Ernst socket rails are different than the Carlyle/Wright/Matco/Vim/Craftsman rails. The Ernst ones are thicker and the pegs don't interchange with the other brands.
