I was in a Napa while on the road(Indianapolis) buying some wiper blades and finally saw some in person. They do look and feel very high quality. I did a search but came up empty. So here is the question. Who is making these tools for Napa? I was going to pick up one of the 90t ratchets. The roto head ratchets look identical to Mac and Cornwell. I know Cornwell stuff from Taiwan is made by a company called professional tool products. So i wonder if they are who is making Napa's Carlyle stuff.

In this post it says they are made by King Tony.

I've used King Tony tools while I was abroad and I was really impressed by them especially for their price, but everything is made to spec so I'm not sure how Carlyle tools compare to the Taiwan King Tony line.

Actually after reading a bit more in the previous GJ post and doing a little search, it seems like King Tony might make some but not all of the tools.

In this post on a different garage website someone wrote to the company about the lifetime warranty. Their response claims that Carlyle tools are made in the United State, Germany and Taiwan.

Their line up of tools are sourced from different manufacturers in Taiwan. Napa will pick and choose from wrench/socketry makers, pliers makers, screwdriver makers, cutting tool makers, hammer makers, etc, etc.

I like all my napa/carlyle branded tools.
Chrome is good, correct cut for head sized, have'nt been able to spread the head of any of my wrenches yet, there just good quality, for the price.
Think the wrench rack on mine said taiwan.

:wtf::rolleyes::Twitch: .....seriously..... what a horrific video.

Seems like Napa went for Kabo for their rat. wrenches, which is a good choice....as they do indeed make good rat wrenches, based on my experience working with them.
