I don't think they had prices on their website.

Maybe they are updating it. There's a new Carlyle catalog that's been out for more than a couple of months now.:dunno:

It hasn't worked in chrome for a week or two, tried it in Edge (or whatever IE is called now) last week and it was down.

I'd hope they're putting all the old new release stuff into the online catalog, but who knows...

Hopefully they're redoing the website. It's pretty dismal in its current state...

Hope so...I just talked to our Napa rep. He said the site has been down since 4/8 for maint and a makeover..that seems like a long time for a site to be down for that kind of thing...?? If Napa drops Carlyle like they have other house brands in the past he better dye his hair blonde, get a fake mustache and head to the airport...cause there are alot of guys in our shop that have gone almost all Carlyle..especially the newer ones that came in after he ran off the tool trucks.

In this day and age, you don’t take a website offline for maintenance. Something else is going on. I like the fact that they finally came out with a new catalog after 2 1/2 years but Napa really should step it up with product merchandising, cause they **** at it.

Agreed.... Tho..They do a great job of marketing to professional techs..Any shops that buy from Napa. We have Carlyle hats, coffee cups, ink pens, etc everywhere, and they make it so easy to buy their tools.. call in the morning..anything you want is at the shop that afternoon.. And with the shops 20% discount.. good value for good tools.

Still not working. Wonder what's going on. I hope they are not phasing them out. Probably the highest quality tools you can buy at any chain parts or big box stores.

Site is back up and running...with direct link to the Napa site, so it's easier to see pricing..

It's easier to see pricing but harder to find what you're looking for. Instead of the categories being arranged in a thoughtful way you get dumped onto the NAPA site with pages of random products.

There's a section on the left hand side of your screen on the NAPA site that'll allow you to refine it to Carlyle only. Not difficult.

I can do that easily enough but let's say I want a Carlyle no. 2 phillips with an orange handle. On the old site I could go to the screwdriver page and look through the individual drivers organized by type, then find the handle I want.

With this I selected screwdrivers and was taken to a listing of all of their screwdrivers mixed up together. The first few were precision slotted, then some stubbies, then a few more blue handles. I found the orange no. 2 on page seven.

In nine pages of ******** screwdrivers the only set listed was on the last page, and that was a precision set. The site looks a bit nicer but I can't see it helping if I want to look something up for purchase. They eliminated the product organization in favor of using the NAPA site which is one of the poorest I know of in that respect.

Interesting. I did what you had just said for a Carlyle no.2 Philips with an orange handle. I went to the Carlyle site clicked on screwdrivers which brought me to the NAPA site (carlyle was already selected) then clicked on #2 for tip size and the first thing that came up was an orange handled #2 Carlyle screwdriver. I seem to like the site set up better personally. https://www.napaonline.com/en/search?text=carlyle&q=N%3D1000003800%2B3090600%2B127398300&isProduct=true&indices=PIA

I think I see the problem. I'm looking at the mobile site which doesn't give me the same options. Of course, now the orange no. 2 is on the first page of listings. I think this conversation is being monitored...
