Not exactly sure what you're speaking about when you say teeth, but Snap On, Mac, Matco all make 6 point wrenches with "flank drive" open ends.

He's talking about the open end.

So do the boxed end have teeth on the proto?

Cut from the previously provided link

Anti-Slip Design (ASD) open end.
Metric sizes 9mm and smaller do not have ASD feature.

Photo's of ASD from a previous thread.
This is what you are looking for.. The design was borrowed from Dewalt to use on their combo wrenches as well since they and Proto have the same parent company.

Nope. Open end has teeth, box end is the industry standard off corner engagement.

Have a link or picture of the Carlyle with teeth in the box end?:headscrat

Now you're looking for ratcheting?

I see you're on your phone, but type it all out in one post. This is a forum, not a chat room.

Mac makes a 6 point ratcheting wrench with teeth in the flats of the box end and on the open end. They're called EDGE I believe. Outside of that there are very few ratcheting 6 point wrenches at all let alone with teeth. I know tekton makes some but they may only be double box ends.

Actually, I don't think Proto's ASD uses teeth, Proto's ASD doesn't damage the fastener. There's pictures of it online, but I'm not sure how to host them here or what hosting site to use.

Why care about a US version Carlyle tools are awesome quality very close to truck brand but easier to warranty just go to napa. I love Carlyle the only complaint is the prices are high but you get what you pay for quality.
If you want us made get snap on.

Since we're on the topic, anyone use the Astro flank bite or whatever the hell they call them?

I've been using a metric set. Removed a sway bar mounting nut that i could get a twist socket on but not enough room to hammer it on which seems necessary. Threw the wrench on and hammered on the end of it to break it loose. Had to tap the wrench off it after as it was married to it then.
