Carolina 50 ton press

I have a carolina press it's has a older ererpac p80 pump I bought a rebuild kit but the directions stink any one have exp with these pumps

Enerpacs are an easy rebuild, common sense will get you through. You need a can of CRC cleaner, toothbrush, pipe cleaners, possible large sewing pin or wire to clean small ports. Sealing surfaces can be damaged so avoid sharp objects when removing o-rings etc. One issue I had, the manual valve leaked slightly after the rebuild, had to remove valve stem, put a pin down to the steel ball, tapped with a small hammer lightly to seat the ball..fine after that.

Does anyone have an assembly drawing for the pump that came out one these presses.

Just a point, but a true Alaskan would fix their sled themselves, likely with an empty spam can (or two ) and possibly some refrigerator parts.



As for the OP's question, I have not rebuilt an Enerpak brand, but the power units, jacks and aircraft actuators I've worked on all required the correct parts in the correct locations (some were directional too) and some patience assembling them.

If the unit was working at all, you should be able to tell what goes where during disassembly.
