Carport/Overhang

New to the Garage Journal, so high everyone.

I am attempting to extend the over hang out from by double garage door opening.

Attaching to the garage seems not to be and issue, but at the onter end, I am not sure what to run accross that will not sag in the middle.

The open span is about 22 feet. I guess I could but and 20 foot piece of 1.4 X 6 X 20 foot piece of steel, but that seems to be overkill, plus heavy as heck.

Any suggestions or helpfull hints??
