I am about to start building a small barn and I am using double swinging carraige doors in the front and a double sliding doors in the back. My question is, if I am going to all this trouble to insulate, how do I seal around the doors. That is where I will loose most of my heating and cooling?

I need this information also. How is the best way to seal off carriage house type swinging doors?

Basically, it is going to be difficult. About the best you are going to be able to do is have a floor sweep along the bottom edge of the door and some sort of weatherstripping along the jamb that the door closes up against for the swinging doors. I have not seen a good system for sliding doors other than really high-end systems where the door slides and then sockets into the jamb to seal it.
