A few months ago I received an estimate for a new HVAC system from a trusted local contractor, for my commercial building. I asked if they have spring specials and they said sometimes and that they would contact me if there is a sale. I got an email that there is a $138 rebate. Not much, but I am about ready to pull the trigger. I asked if it would save me money if I removed the old furnace and they said, yes it would save $270 in labor. I thought that was worth my time so I asked them to revise the estimate with those two discounts.
I get the revised estimate and the $138 discount is for substituting a Goodman unit for the original Carrier that was quoted. Are they one in the same?
Carrier 3 ton 13 seer 410A is the original unit.
Should I stick with the Carrier unit?
Thanks, Phil
