Needed a 2 tank cart to hold Tig, Mig and plasma plus a tray for grinders, clamps, helmet etc.

I had a sheet of expanded rusting on the side of the garage and a ton of 3/16x1 angle laying around which is what designed the cart vs me designing it. I also had 12 inches of 5/8 rod so I got some harbor freight wheels, casters and ordered some collar sets to hold the wheels on the axle.

I still need to figure out how I want the leads to store. I had some trucker chain laying around to secure the tanks (not shown) and a peice of bent pipe got added on for a torch holder. When I was thinking about what to use as a handle to pull it around a cheap C clamp busted on me and that then became the handle.

Some close to Miller Blue spay paint and done.

Warned ya, boring.

Not boring at all. There's always an opportunity to steal ideas when somebody posts pictures of a project.

Well, my "hobby" may have gotten out of control. Here it is with some toys on it.

What about the middle shelf is sparking OCD. Now you have my OCD going wondering.

Looks good to me. I need to take some time and make some more carts for the shop. We move a lot of cut plate around. We have a few 4x8 carts on casters to unload the laser and move to staging at the press brake. I need to make some smaller ones to better separate smaller jobs in the shop.

LMAO,,,, so the ocd thing,,, I looked at it and thought "is it not level" So I checked and was fine... then I thought "maybe doesnt realize i made different sizes on purpose"

Now that I know that its cuz the expanded is in different direction and it is bugging some of you like it does me, I feel better about myself.... It was what was able to fit with what I had and trust me I thought about it.

Thanks for all the positive responses.... frankly its just a box. There is some real talent on this website and I am just a hacker.

We're all hacks Matt, some of just have better skills than others. I've often called myself just a hack with a hammer.

You have a great little cart and it will serve you well for years to come.
