Guys,

I am looking for a simple cart, and don't want to spend a fortune. I see the following one on the website, whcih is about what I want to pay.

http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-t...l-service-cart-with-locking-drawer-90428.html

Does anyone have one, and if so, what do you think. It is going to be just for rolling a few tools and spray cans around, but I don't want something that will just twist the first bump it hits.

Thanks

I've looked at them in person at the store. Not all that heavy duty, especially the casters but should be adequate for a light-duty cart on a smooth surface. They go on sale for $49.99 fairly often.

I've looked at them too. Not a bad price, but in the end, it is just too flimsy to hold up to any serious usage. Pass on it.

You might want to check out the 5-drawer model. Much better built, much greater utility, and frequently on sale for $149 - $179. This is a freeking bargain!

I have the red single drawer cart and it will do what you want. It's not real heavy duty but I mounted a belt sander on it and it hasn't fallen apart yet.

I have the same cart.
If you get it on sale for $50 it should do ok for what you are asking about.
I have confidence in mine and it rolls smoothly.

the 5 drawer is back to 179

$169 in my area based upon the HF flyer I picked up on Sunday for the March 24-27, 2011 sale.

Sad part is I have a used HF 5-drawer cart I need to sell with worn out lid shocks and it's almost not even worth getting rid of as the prices on the 5 dwrs drop (to the point of scrap metal runs only for used HF carts.)

I have a couple of those carts. The wheels are not as smooth as a snappy cart, but I only paid $30/each for them. You can catch them on fleabay cheap everyonce in a while too.

Got a new flyer in the mail today. All of the carts are on sale in the store until the end of March. Don't know about online.

Anyone know if the 20% off coupon can be used with the $169 sale price on the HF red five drawer?

My March flyer has the red 5-dwr coupon for $169 good for March 24-28 ONLY--yes only 5 days. And it says in fine print that it cannot be used with any other discount or coupon.

$169 is as lo as it goez it seems.
