Case for CDI 401SM / Snap-On Qdriver torque screwdriver

The CDI 401SM torque screwdriver ships with basically a disposable plastic tube and mine is cracked.

Some of the rebrands of it, like Klein, come in zipper cases with bits.

Has anybody found a good compact protective case or pouch for this that I can leave in a tool bag? I tried a few generic tool cases on Amazon and they are either too small or way too large. Open to small hard cases or soft pouches.

Can you narrow down what you consider way to small or large?For example, something like the Pelican R40 Personal Utility Ruck Case would possibly work. You could even customize some foam or make an insert for it. There is also the 3d printing option that could get you something very custom. Have you looked around for a padded zipper case? I also feel like whatever local seamstress/sewing club you might have could also make a custom padded zipper case for you.

Basically as small as possible to provide minor impact protection. I need something around 6 1/2 OAL and maybe 2" across.

I was looking at flashlight holsters but the elastic sides didn't do a great job of keeping it retained:



I would also be open to a zipper case like the klein tradesman if I could find something a bit closer in size to the tool

Looked on Etsy, and a lot of 3D printed stuff popping up there. Find one you like, see if they will adapt for you.

Definitely larger than a cigar but I would be ok with the leather case concept.

I was actually thinking a threaded cap but this might make more sense. I have some scrap fittings here I can play with.
