Cases for Engineering Tools

Like a place to get a case to house a 6" dial caliper, 1 inch micrometer, 6" Starrett steel scale(s) and maybe a small machinists square.

Something like a case a decent dial caliper would come in only blank uncut foam so I can make my own custom compartments.

Metal or plastic, don't think I need water proof like a Pelican. This is for traveling with so size is pretty important.

Maybe 10" long x 4-6"wide and 1" thick inside dimensions approximately.

Spent 1/2 hour searching and not even close to what I want. Yard sale and flea markets take a lot of time.

Try the new pelican tablet cases. 1065cc is big enough for an ipad. It might fit the bill with what you want. Right around $55 from Amazon.

Proto has some metal cases - you would have to add your own foam...

I was going to post the same thing. I have a few that are much cheaper than the one you listed to. Just simple plastic cases with foam that I picked up for a few bucks.
