Cast iron hand crank grinder

Anybody know anything about this one. The name plate is missing but the rivets are still there. It seems to be complete and works as originally intended. I see plenty of hand cranked grinders/sharpeners for sale but none quite like this one.Any information would be appreciated.

So far I have looked thru Luther, Keystone, Modern, American catalogs, nothing close yet.

This is the closest I have been able to find and it dosen't help determine the maker. It has a similar gear setup but is far less well made and has no guarding on the gears.

Goodell Pratt made quality stuff, so this grinder should be well worth cleaning up and getting working good again.

Here it is in catalog 15 4 years earlier. Notice the price drop from $15 - $13.20.

It dose need a good disassembly and cleaning but it is well lubricated and working fine. Everthing is tight and smooth. I found it clamped to a workbench in shed. It looked like it was still in use.

I am happy with just cleaning this thing enough that I can handle it without washing my hands afterwards. This little set screw was hidden by gunk and really slowed me down disassembling the grinder. I could not understand what was holding the main gear on.

A few good cranks and this thing will keep spinning for about a minute on its own.
