Carter Cat in Virginia has p/n 200-8413, the 1/4" 6pt. metric shallow socket set (4-15mm) for $82.98
Ohio Cat in Ohio has the same set for $66.38
Looks like each dealer sets their own pricing. I know Ohio Cat ships, but no idea on their shipping costs.

The closest Snap-On set is only from 5-15mm and adding in the 4mm, that is included in the Cat set, is $273.40

It can vary, yes...

Dealer and location I used to work at, the HQ not far from there and the location nearest to me now are all showing the same price using your example. But it's $71 for that set out here in Arizona.

It also depends on available inventory... If it has be shipped directly from CAT or another dealer somewhere in the network, especially overseas, price will definitely vary.

One of the metric wrench sets I looked at long time back was like ~$600 or ~$700 and had to ship from Australia.

The CAT tool prices depend upon where you live. Here in northern VA, the prices are considerably more from the CAT dealers than what I have seen on social media when this craze started popping up on Youtube, Instagram, etc. It seems those in the mid-west or in general, rural areas, get cheaper pricing.

It has been my experience here in Texas. Prices are a bit more in Texas than you tube creators.

OK CAT Tool question. I took a leap and bought the swivel impacts as well as a set of Metric impacts to get the total over $250 for the reward bonus. I picked up my order today my invoice had two charges I didn't catch until, I got home. I had prepaid at time of order. Anyhow I have a touch over $32 in two "emergency charges"(non-taxable) I contacted customer service via on-line chat, uploaded my invoice and a screenshot of my order showing the difference chat CS is reaching out to the store and they will contact me via email. As of right now the card I used is only showing the original charge and not the total with the "emergency charges'' So we wait.Just curious if anyone has experienced a similar issue.

When I placed my order it said something like emergency order as well, but I didn't see an extra charge for it. I paid for mine online and had them shipped. I was only $8 USD to ship and both dealers were 2+ hours away(neither had both sets in stock)

Actually I just looked and they refunded me 4 dollars for some reason...

It wasn’t on my initial order,still not on my order when I pull it up on the computer. Only on the invoice attached to the sockets at pick up. I should clarify, if they were shipping charges and I was made aware of them I likely would have had them shipped to my house versus picking them up in person. also as of this morning still only the initial/original charge amount on my card.
