Bringing back an old thread, sorry

I was looking thru the CAT hand tools catalogue today, thanks to GJ, and found a full set of 30/60 offset wrenches from 3/8 to 1 1/8 CAT part 1p-3515.
Matches almost exactly SO part number vs814a, but almost half the price my cost. Can anybody confirm they are re branded SO, or are they Williams?

They are snap on. Williams doesn't offer those.

Being that I work for a Cat dealer I have a bunch of Cat tools in my box (which is actually a Cat box, too). Great stuff and the Cat catalog has some interesting items in it.

If you do pick them up, let us know what they want for them...

Sorry to bump an older thread like this, but there's no reason to start a new one if one already exists. I've been reading here that the CAT tools are rebranded Snap-on. Just found some Cat sockets and attached photos. They appear to be very high quality. Can anyone tell me if these are rebranded Snap-on? Williams? Or something else? Thanks.

I know the sockets are manufactured by snapon; they even have their date stamp. I’ve even ordered a couple of heel bars and even though they were in Cat packing they were stamped SnapOn.

Thanks. I see folks talking about various top-grade deepwell sockets in here at times in relation to the depth of the broaching. I noticed these were full broached and very nicely made. Then when I read the Snap-on references to CAT, it started to make sense. Haven't used them yet (I normally use the deep black moly impacts), but just handling them you can tell these are serious stuff.

I’ve actually been looking for an affordable angle wrench set that was still good quality and I found a cat set 233-1635. Does anyone know if these also happen to be produced by snap on?

If it's the normal standard angle wrench set that I have, yes it is made my Snap On and is a good set.

I also have some of the 30/60 degree open ended cat wrenches and yes I can confirm they are made by snap on at least when I got them in 2013. I have a mix of snap on and cat and the cats only have the sizes stamped on one side and the snap ons are stamped on both sides .
