Hi, I'm new here so not sure if there is another thread on this or not, but just wondering where to look for Snap-On Caterpillar hand tools. Can I get them at CAT dealers or what?

The dealer is the only place you can get them new to my knowledge. Cat tools generally make Snapon look like a bargain, I'd stick to Snappy if I were you.

The little CAT emblem isn't worth it.

Thanks. Ive seen some of their prices before and they can get pricey.

Alot of the new tools are Williams stuff anyway, not actually Snap On rebranded tools.Kind of like Case IH and New Holland Blue Point rebranded tools the dealers pawn off as Snap On.Better off to buy the actual Williams version.CAT tools are expensive. Some other stuff like the Torque Wrenches and Flare Nut wrenches, and possibly some other tools are Snap On though.I know the ratchets are Williams, but based on the 36 tooth Snap On ratchets. Some CAT stuff does show up on Ebay from time to time.

I used to work as a machinist for CAT. From what I was told most of their branded tools are same as Snap On. Even with my employee discount they were spendy. Not worth it in my opinion.
